This fall, we’re offering three dynamic courses—available both in-person at our Lakewood, WA campus and remotely via Zoom. These flexible class formats are part of our commitment to making Christian education more accessible than ever, so you can participate from wherever you are.
Monday Evenings (6–9 PM): The Book of Romans
With Professor Michael Lindholm
Journey through the theological powerhouse of the New Testament with a verse-by-verse study of Romans. This course will explore how Paul’s inspired words illuminate the transformative power of the gospel—bringing people from death to life, and laying the foundation for Christian doctrine and spiritual growth. Whether you’ve read Romans many times or are just beginning to unpack its depth, you’ll leave this class with a deeper understanding of grace, faith, and the righteousness of God.
Wednesday Evenings (6–9 PM): Understanding the Theology of Identity and Vocation
With Dr. John Golling
Who am I? Why am I here? What is my calling? In a world full of noise and competing answers, this course helps believers explore biblical truths about identity, purpose, and God’s unique design for each of our lives. You’ll engage with Scripture, reflect on your personal journey, and wrestle with big questions in a thoughtful, grace-filled environment. Whether you’re navigating a life transition or simply longing for clarity, this course offers a theologically grounded path forward.
Thursday Evenings (6–9 PM): Understanding Biblical Interpretation / Hermeneutics
With Dr. Daniel Holcomb
The Bible is the foundation of our faith, but how do we interpret its timeless truths for today? This class will help you develop skills in hermeneutics—the art and science of biblical interpretation. You’ll explore principles for reading Scripture faithfully and applying it wisely, both in your own life and when teaching others. Ideal for teachers, leaders, or any believer who wants to grow in confidence and clarity when studying the Bible.
