Covenant Bible Institute has worked diligently to provide the best available degrees in Biblical Education since its founding in 1985, by the late Dr. Merritt Lawson.
Part of the Institute’s continuing vision has been to provide a path for students to earn an accredited Bachelor's or Master's Degree that is affordable, accessible, and relevant to the student's goals and context. Through CBI's partnership with Kairos University, eligible students can earn the following fully accredited degrees:
- Bachelor of Arts
- Bachelor of Arts in Leadership
- Bachelor of Arts and Master of Divinity (ask us about this unique "blended" program)
- Master of Arts
- Master of Divinity
- Master of Arts in Counseling
- Master of Arts in Leadership
- Doctor of Ministry
Kairos Degree students who attend in partnership with Covenant Bible Institute have access to a wider range of classes (in-person and online), educational resources, personalized advising, and additional financial aid, that are only available through Covenant Bible Institute.
Kairos University Partnership & Degree Program
Kairos University offers a transformative online learning experience that integrates mentorship, vocational excellence, and contextualized study. This approach deepens your faith, enhances your communication and ministry skills, and equips you for impactful leadership.
Kairos University is known for its competency-based approach to theological education and for helping students develop proficiency within their current or desired vocational context. It is accredited by the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools and the Higher Learning Commission.
Students can leverage CBI’s learning experiences as part of their Kairos University program by staying connected to localized mentoring and taking advantage of in-person classes. They also have access to personalized academic advising and local, community-based student engagement, all provided by CBI.
